Tweed Shire Council is seeking an experienced Town Planner to assist with the development application process managed by our Development Assessment and Compliance Unit.
About the role:
process development applications and related matters in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act
prepare LEP amendments, policies, Development Control Plans and other aspects of strategic planning
respond to written and verbal enquiries
manage the Development Assessment process including recommending the application for approval/refusal and associated follow up processes
provide excellent customer service to our stakeholders, providing advice on environmental planning instruments and policy matters.
