GBC provides accredited and nationally recognised degree courses in leading technologies of Information Technology, and Business Management in Sydney and Adelaide. GBC has shown its commitment to quality higher education by offering relevant, contemporary and high-quality qualifications and working with students to develop the real-world skills, attitudes and values needed to guide their success in their chosen career paths.

GBC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Management Consultant to join its team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic direction, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the ongoing success of educational programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is passionate about driving excellence in higher education.

You will be responsible for analysing business data, improving business operational planning, developing and implementing programs and solutions to resolve business issues. You will be responsible for setting up the meaningful goals and plan for actions and involvement.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Education, or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Management Consultant, preferably within the education sector.
• Strong understanding of the higher education landscape in Australia, including TEQSA accreditation requirements.

In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Analyze and evaluate the current operational procedures, systems, and business models of GBC to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality and delivery of GBC’s educational programs.
• Collaborate with senior management to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Provide expert advice on market trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth within the higher education sector.
• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies to attract and retain international students.
• Assist in the design and implementation of student support services aimed at enhancing student satisfaction and academic success.
• Conduct regular assessments of GBC’s performance against key performance indicators and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives to expand GBC’s program offerings, ensuring they align with market demands and future industry trends.
• Advise on the integration of new technologies and digital tools to improve educational delivery and student engagement.
• Develop and manage partnerships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, accreditation bodies, and educational institutions.
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of new strategies and operational practices.
• Provide training and development support to staff to enhance their capabilities in line with GBC’s strategic goals.

• Strong interpersonal skills including consultancy and negotiation, with a strong focus on internal and external stakeholder engagement
• Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems and present solutions
• Methodical and structured approach to achieving objectives
