ABOUT THE JOB
We have an exciting opportunity for a WA-based Diesel Fitter that is interested in
a great work-life balance and looking for ongoing work.
With an immediate start, you will be responsible for executing weekly
maintenance on heavy machinery.
This role will be your first step for multiple opportunities in Arra’s biggest mining
projects and a great opportunity to work with one of our top clients.
LOCATION
Western Australia, Metro and regional
PAY RATE
$100,000.00 per annum ($AUD)
DURATION
Ongoing full-time
SCOPE
- Installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles, equipment and
associated control devices.
- Differentiate between unserviceable parts and components that are able to be
reused without the likelihood of premature failure.
- Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work
done meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Service and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and the electrical
and electronic systems in heavy equipment.
- Use computers to seek service and parts information and download information
from on-board computers in heavy machinery.
- Diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment, such as excavators,
loaders, dozers, dump trucks, scrapers, motor graders, pipe layers, road rollers,
paving products, underground machines, skid steer loaders, backhoes,
compactors, forklifts and on-highway trucks.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- C Class Driver’s License
- Confined Space
- Working Safely at Heights
- Australian Trade Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation within 12-month validity
