BEC Engineering is a well-established and respected Electrical, Power and Control System Engineering consultancy based in West Perth.
We are currently involved in a range of projects both within Australia and internationally and with further excellent project opportunities in the pipeline we are seeking expressions of interest from Electrical Engineers with 3+ years experience to join the team.
The Role
This role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team.
The experience we are seeking includes the capability to take on a variety of roles within a project from the design and planning stages right through to finalisation and delivery.
To be sucessfull in this role, you should have :
- Project design experience ideally in mining or minerals processing applications.
- Design of Motor Control Centres.
- Instrumentation specification and selection.
- Development of design deliverables including cable schedules, equipment lists and instrument lists.
- Design of Single Line, Schematics and Termination Diagrams.
- Tendering and evaluation of major equipment
- Report Writing.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Ability to instruct and manage designers/draftspeople.
- Experience in a consulting capacity.
- A willingness to perform site work and commissioning and to travel to remote locations is also required.
This position will provide the opportunity to develop skills working in a pro-active, friendly team environment that specialises in innovative electrical engineering design.
