Designersoft Pty Ltd is looking for a full time carpenter with roofing experience (or roofer with relevant carpentry experience)
Are you
- a talented carpenter with experience in roof structures, flat roofs, woodfibre insulation, quality windows and prefab panels wall construction, with additional knowledge of and experience in roof waterproofing and green roofs?
• Passionate with excellent administration and communication skills?
• knowledgeable about local building codes, the NCC and the international Passivhaus standard ?
• able to communicate with overseas suppliers, in particular in Germany and Austria?
Then you might be the perfect fit for us!
We are importers and installers of high quality building products, in particular
• natural and environmentally friendly woodfibre insulation,
• prefab panels
• triple glazed Passivhouse windows
• airtight membranes for Passivhouse that have to pass the Airtightness Blower Door test
• Velux roof lights, as well as
• Green roofs and flatroofs.
Designersoft is a specialist supplier and performer in the Passivhaus and high quality construction industry, supporting local builders in our specialist fields to help building to Passivhaus and international and German standards. Of course knowledge of Australian Standards and the NCC are as important as knowledge of the Passivhaus Standard and German construction methodologies to enable delivery of these.
The applicant is the main trade looking after installation of the above. We need you to be able to speak German with various overseas suppliers and read their instructions, plan and install any fo the aforementioned items unsupervised io the highest standards approved both in Germany and Australia. Numeration on offer is $75,000 p.a. plus Super
