About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Horticulture Tradesperson to provide horticultural advice, and play a key role in the maintenance and management of the City?s landscapes, Civic Centre gardens and nursery. This is a hands-on and rewarding position that requires a deep knowledge of horticultural practices, a practical approach, and a commitment to safe and sustainable practices.
A snapshot of your new role:
Provide trusted horticultural advice and ensure good horticultural practices across City landscapes, Civic Centre gardens and nursery
Interpret landscape plans, planting layouts, identify stock species and advise on plant selection
Monitor the health and growth of plants, and take appropriate action to address any issues
Ensure high quality and aesthetically pleasing plant
