Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking a Cable Bolter Operator, in the Development Department at George Fisher Mine. This position is residentially based in Mt Isa.
The Role
We are looking for individuals to join us in the role of a Cable Bolter Operator within the Development Department. Reporting to the Development Supervisor, you will be responsible to safely achieve planned installed cable bolt metres through the installation of grouted cable bolt ground support consistent with mine standards and quality. The roster for this role is on a 7 on 7 off day and night continuous shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Operating underground cable bolter to install grouted cable bolt ground support
Perform pre-start checks, hazard identification, PRAs (personal risk assessment)
