POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Automotive Technology and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and diagnostic tasks on vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and operating at their best.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including abnormal noises, oil leaks, and engine problems.
Perform routine maintenance such as brake repairs, timing belt replacements, and battery replacements.
Service and repair diesel engines, including fuel injector cleaning and maintenance.
Conduct repairs on struts, shocks, ball joints, and tie rods.
Service and repair cooling systems and heaters.
Carry out anti-lock brake system maintenance and repairs.
Diagnose and repair power window systems.
Conduct engine repairs and replacements when necessary.
Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Diploma in Automotive Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
