Production Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production/ Mechanical Engineer. Ideal candidate should have high problem solving, decision making skills and technical skills to keep the production running and meet the daily targets.
Your accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
• Experience in food processing industries, preferably dairy products.
• Mechanical degree is highly preferred.
• Must have experience in operating the automated machines especially Benhil-8345 and Benhil -8380 packing machines and their maintenance.
• Assist with plant/equipment commissioning & validations
• Maintenance of the case packers.
• Maintain the high-quality standards in production area and all over the factory.
• Must have the knowledge on X-rays, conveyors and online check weighers.
• Must have experience working on automatic EGLI reworking system and the maintenance of the butter pumps, Homogenizers and Inline mixers.
• Have the experience on water system and its filtration units.
• The knowledge on food safety standards as per Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS)
• Be able to work independently, communicate well and work as a part of team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and should be very attentive.
• Have their own reliable transport.
The Successful candidate will:
• Have a degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have a sound Knowledge of product packaging and designing.
• Demonstrate excellent technological and communication skills to apply creativity & project management.
• Have a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in the related field.
• Have a minimum of 1-year experience in supervising production engineering team.
• Have experience within a GMP environment.
• Have experience in writing technical documentation.
• Have a Australian Permanent residency or a Citizenship.
• Be paid $80,000 excluding super annuation.
* 40 hours per week including Saturdays and rotational shift work
