If you are a qualified and experienced hairdresser, we want you to apply for a position at Studio one hair & Beauty - a popular hair salon located in Point Cook.
Successful applicants must have at least:
AQF Certificate Ill including at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) in hairdressing;
And/ or;
At least 5 years of experience working as a full-time hairdresser
Below is the list of duties you will be expected to perform in this position:
• Consult with clients on their desired end look;
• Advise clients based on the shape of their heads, giving advice on what style and design best suit them;
• Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors;
• Depending on the occasion, designing special styles for clients as requested;
• Source for the best care and maintenance products in the market, and advise clients;
• Shape, Clean, colour, adjust, curl and cut wigs and hairpieces.
• Shampoo, condition and rinse hair.
• Dry hair and style it using brushes, combs, Dry hair and style it using brushes, combs, straightening and tinting. • • Provide services such as colouring, belching,
and irons. • Applying treatment, permanent waving with
chemical solutions.
• Clean the salon, work areas and sanitizing
equipment.
• Maintain and build relationship with all
customers
• Arranging appointments and handling cashier
duties.
Salary package: $64,000 per year plus
