Job Description
The Assistant Director, Risk Assurance will play a pivotal role in overseeing the material risk assurance, and incident management frameworks within the business. This role involves developing and implementing effective overarching enterprise assurance approaches, methodologies and processes, across the lines of assurance, to ensure that controls are designed well and operating effectively, and where deficiencies are identified, the risk is assessed, proportionate corrective actions are developed, prioritised commensurate with the risk, and their implementation tracked. You will also oversee our incident, loss and breach management framework so that in the event of a loss, incident or breach, the business has a consistent approach internally to ensure that these events are understood, operational processes are in place to manage them, root causes are identified, corrective actions implemented, the residual risk is understood and this incorporated into the risk profile.
