The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Customer Service Officer in our Customer Service team based in Kewdale. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

This is a 24-month fixed term opportunity with the view for extension. Working within a friendly and inclusive team you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. Your can-do attitude will be on full display as you take new orders and quotations, providing product and pricing advice and manage a variety of day-to-day enquiries.

What Will You Do?

In this diverse role, you’ll be a key point of contact for our customers. You will:

  • interact with our customers via phone and email, managing quotes and queries 
  • create sales opportunities through proactive selling
  • prepare and enter customer orders into our operating system
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, warehouse, and sales departments) ensuring customer expectations and requirements are met or exceeded
