We are seeking an experienced Chef with a minimum of 5 years of culinary expertise to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent working conditions. As the Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. You will also play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative environment between the kitchen and waitstaff, ensuring seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service during both lunch and dinner shifts.
• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, from classic pub meals to international cuisine, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate service, addressing any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked with fresh ingredients.
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, adhering to all relevant regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing creative ideas and innovations to the table.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be Australian Citizen
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a high-volume bistro or pub setting.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver consistently high-quality results.
• Experience in Malaysian, Indian and International cuisine essential
o Must have current NSW food safety certificate
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. -= CERT
• A good work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
