Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
Duties:
• Oversee daily operations of the retail area, including the convenience store and fuel pumps
• Manage and motivate a team of retail assistants, including scheduling and training
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
• Manage cash handling procedures and end-of-day reconciliations
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness
• Implement promotional activities and merchandising strategies
• Liaise with the storeperson to ensure adequate stock levels
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures
Skills and Requirements:
• Proven experience in retail supervision or management, preferably in a service station or convenience store setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
• Good numeracy skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail environment
