Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Polymer Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage all technical aspects of devulcanization and cutting of rubber products, providing expert advice to senior management. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and maintain RUBBERGEM’s reputation as a leader in the rubber recycling industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Devulcanization Process Management:
o Lead and oversee the entire devulcanization process to ensure optimal recycling of rubber materials.
o Develop and implement new techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of devulcanization.
o Monitor and control the quality of devulcanized materials, ensuring they meet the company’s strict standards.
• Rubber Cutting and Shaping:
o Manage and optimize the cutting and shaping processes of rubber products to ensure precision and consistency.
o Implement innovative cutting techniques to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
• Technical Advisory:
o Serve as a key technical advisor to senior management, providing insights on improving existing processes and introducing new technologies.
o Prepare and present detailed reports on process performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Research and Development:
o Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and methods in polymer engineering to enhance the company’s product offerings.
o Collaborate with the R&D team to test and validate new rubber products and technologies.
• Quality Assurance:
o Ensure all products comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
o Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of engineering processes.
o Communicate effectively with international partners and suppliers to coordinate technical aspects of product development.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Engineering- Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in polymer engineering, preferably in the rubber industry, in a similar envoironment.
• Strong knowledge of rubber materials, devulcanisation processes, and cutting technologies.
• Experience with product development and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
