We are actively seeking an experienced Fitter or Boilermaker to take the next step in their career and drive the continued performance and safety of the Lead Smelter. This position is suited to those who can lead safety, coach teams and troubleshoot mechanical systems. This is a residential role in accordance with a 4/4/4/2 roster configuration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Troubleshooting a range of fixed plant repairs and maintenance
Undertaking preventive maintenance and break down repairs on equipment such as pumps, conveyor systems and hydraulic systems
Scoping jobs, ordering parts and developing work packs.
Managing and developing small teams of tradespersons and apprentices.
Working with maintenance planners and engineers to rectify persistent maintenance issues
