About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Machinist to join our high performing team in Perth WA 6105.
Your responsibilities in this role will include;
Remanufacture of hydraulic components from drawings and samples
Working on Manual lathes up to 8m centres and 1.25m swing
Working on manual milling machines and horizontal borers
Setting and programming of CNC lathes, and milling machines, Fagor and Siemens preferable.
Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
Measure, inspect and report on all components
Attend and participate in toolbox talks
Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must possess;
Relevant Trade (essential) and welding qualifications (highly desirable)
Competent machining background in Manual turning, milling and grinding
Experience in CNC programming and setting
Experience in hydraulic cylinder repair and remanufacture
Solid understanding of manufacturing clearances and tolerances
High Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and work with others
Australian (interstate), New Zealand and International candidates are invited to apply.
This position will attract a wage of between $37 to $42 per hour, commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
