Benchmark Painting As a Painting Trades Worker at Benchmark Painting, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality painting services across various projects, including commercial spaces, industrial facilities, strata projects, healthcare environments, heritage-listed buildings, and residential properties. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all painting projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.    Benefits Supplied uniform/PPE Career development opportunity  Annual and personal leave Opportunities for overtime and call-outs Task & Responsibilities Surface Preparation:  Set up scaffolding and ladders. Place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering. Remove old paint and wallpaper. Use different types of spray machines. Patch & repair concrete. Match colours if necessary. Painting & Finishing Perform sandblasting and spray painting.  Select and prepare paints to the required colours by colour matching, if necessary. Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays. Hang wallpaper, match patterns, and trim edges to ensure a professional finish. Maintenance and Repairs: Patch & repair concrete surfaces Apply floor epoxies/paints. Workspace Management: Clean equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organised workspace. Special Coatings: Apply anti-graffiti coatings as required. Apply stains on bricks to match original colour. Apply floor coatings.           Qualification & Experience Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply. Certificate lll in Painting and Decorating. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in painting and decorating. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in painting and decorating. Commitment to environmental sustainability and the use of low VOC/environmental paints and materials.
