A full time Livestock Hand position is available on a family-owned station at St Lawrence in Central Queensland. The station is dedicated to producing quality Brahman cattle while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, embraces technology and continuously develops and improves pastures for regenerative grazing in an expanding business.
Reporting to the owner, your duties include cattle movements and herd monitoring in a rotation grazing system, cattle mustering, handling, and processing in a quiet and efficient manner, all aspects of animal husbandry, basic mechanical and general maintenance including workshop and fencing, homestead yard maintenance and record keeping.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, trustworthy and demonstrate a passion for cattle work with experience working autonomously in a similar position.
