We're seeking an experienced Contract Administrator for a leading player in Adelaide's Construction industry! As a Contract Administrator, you'll be responsible for managing contractual financial and administrative requirements for a number of construction projects. You'll oversee the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and successful project outcomes. Your new role
Ensure a cash-positive project position every month
Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial health, and create cash flow statements
Prepare essential documents for subcontractor procurement
Coordinate the calling of quotations and tendering of contracts, providing procurement recommendations to the Project Manager
Draft all contracts and documentation for tender packages, securing necessary approvals
Adhere to contract management policies and procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
What you'll need to succeed
Background in Construction or Building with the ability to read plans
Experience in quantity surveying/estimating
Understanding of contracts and legal issues related to contracts
Knowledge of tender processes
Experience in procurement and letting of trade packages
Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs
