To provide high quality administrative support to the Immunisation Team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide assistance to clients in the completion of immunisation enquiries, bookings, or processing of immunisation histories, using Interpreter services as required.
- Ensure that information provided to clients is current, accurate and provided in a professional timely and helpful manner.
- Enter data and maintain accurate records of immunisation details using VaxApp and AIR.
- Provide immunisation histories, on request, by searching immunisation databases and records as required.
- Attend immunisation sessions to carry out the tasks and functions of an immunisation administration officer.
- Provide information and feedback obtained during direct client service to team members.
- Assist in developing the annual timetable for the community immunisation program.
- Adhere to administrative functions as stipulated in the Immunisation policy and procedure manuals and update these as required.
- Participate in Team Meetings and contribute to continuous improvement within the Immunisation Team including making recommendations for the improvement of office procedures to facilitate service delivery.
- Process and produce letters, reports and minutes initiated by the Immunisation Team.
- Assist with updating the Hume City Council website as directed by the Immunisation Team Leader to ensure accurate timely information is always available.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:
- Ability to communicate effectively with and gain cooperation from people with diverse range of backgrounds, using interpreters when required.
- Customer service focused.
- Working knowledge of National Immunisation Program.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability in using MS Office computer products, and the ability to access, interpret, and maintain databases.
- High level of customer service skills.
