To increase our workshop output and continue to grow, Victorian Trailers Pty Ltd's branch Trailer & Trailers Albury Wodonga requires a number of experienced vehicle spray painters for Monday to Friday role (minimum 38 hours per week) with overtime and Saturday shifts available. This position suits a mechanically-minded person that comes up with on the spot solutions to ensure the safe and effective running of the business.
Your main responsibilities include but not limited to:
Demonstrated knowledge in the use and care of technical equipment
Clean & prepare surface for painting, using air-powered equipment
Complete pre-start checks as per SWP
Prepare spray booth and blasted trailers for painting
Carry out masking procedures
Use pressure-fed Spray Guns
Apply paint touch up techniques
Some heavy lifting involve
Planning, organising and prioritising your daily tasks
Awareness of occupational hazards and application of appropriate control measures
Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
Reporting to the production supervisor
Essential:
Vehicle painting qualification (Certificate lll in Automotive Refinishing Technology or Relevant Trade qualification or equivalent)
MUST demonstrate vehicle spray painting knowledge and experience (2 years and more)
Ability to work in a team or independently, unsupervised and with a professional attitude
Quality focused with a good eye for details
Aim for surface coating precision
Thorough understanding and compliance with OH&S in the work place
MUST be available for an immediate start
Physical fitness for manual work
Great work ethic
In return we offer a full-time salary of $65,000 - $75,000 plus Superannuation.
