Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer at Platinum Contracting Group is responsible for the following:
1. Solar System Design involving Customer Consultation and Site Engineering Assessment.
2. System Engineering Design.
3. Inspection Installation of Grid-Connected Inverters
4. Inverter Engineering Placement.
5. Electrical Engineering Connections.
6. Engineering Connection of Solar Inverter to the Grid
7. Grid Integration Engineering.
8. Mounting Solar Panels (PV Modules) on the Roof
9. Structural Engineering involving (1) Racking System Design; and (2) Structural Attachment.
10. Inspection of PV Module Installation
11. Inspect Installation of Solar Batteries involving Battery Storage Engineering and Electrical Engineering Connections.
12. Compliance with Electrical Standards and Safety Regulations
13. System Commissioning involving Operational Testing, Customer Training and Documentation.
Skill requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Renewable Energy or a educational background.
2. Minimum 2 years of work experience in the relevant field at the required skill level.
3. Proficiency with CAD software for system design and layout.
4. Experience with solar design software like PVsyst, Helioscope, or Aurora Solar.
5. Ability to diagnose and fix technical issues with solar setups.
6. Skills in performing regular check-ups and repairs to keep the system in top shape.
7. Skills in setting up and tweaking solar monitoring systems.
8. Ability to dig into performance data to boost system efficiency.
9. Strong communication skills to get what the customer needs and explain technical stuff in plain English.
10. Ability to work well with other engineers, installers, and stakeholders.
11. High level of accuracy in design, installation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and safety.
12. Keen on staying up to date with the latest in solar tech and industry standards.
Salary - $75000 to $80,000 + Superannuation – Per annum
