About the Role:
Our Hastings Deering team are currently seeking an additional Leading Hand to support ongoing work, maintain leadership vs resource ratio and provide quality leadership to ongoing works and staff in our Undercarriage Rebuild Centre.
Reporting to the Foreman, the primary focus of this role is to drive and deliver safety, productivity, and quality, through team leadership, to ensure our customers receive the best quality product and service.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Provide active leadership to employees to improve safety, performance and deliver on customer expectations.
Ensure all team members are working towards No Harm, through Safety interactions and proactive hazard reporting.
Lead a team in execution of planned work as per work schedule.
Provide guidance and expertise when required.
