About the role
Reporting to the Senior Emergency Services Officer (SESO), the Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) supports Liberty Primary Steel (LPS) by delivering essential Emergency Response services (Fire, Rescue, Medical Response, and Asset Protection) at the Whyalla Steelworks site. The MESO assists the Emergency Manager Lead in delivering emergency services to set standards, conducting emergency response exercises, training Trainee Emergency Services Officers (TESO), and developing an Auxiliary Response Group (ARG). Roster: 14 days on, 14 days off, rotating day and night shifts. Location: Whyalla Key Responsibilities:
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first responder support following Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Conduct training, compliance activities, and support the development of emergency response and rescue plans.
