Our role We have an opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing Insurance & Risk team in Brisbane. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who has solid experience in Queensland workers compensation or defendant insurance and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in insurance litigation. Full-time and part-time options available. You can expect to:
Service a moderate file load of personal injuries insurance claims under both the workers compensation and PIPA regimes;
Undertake your own advocacy at the compulsory conference of those claims;
Prepare Reasons for Decision in relation to statutory workers compensation claims under supervision and/or supervise junior practitioners in the preparation of Reasons for Decision;
Receive mentoring and supervision from multiple senior practitioners and/or Partners, providing you with exposure to various working styles;
Contribute to business development initiatives.
