Figo Restaurant is now looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes, including pastas, mains, and desserts;
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to create and update the menu;
• Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during service hours;
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
• Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring ingredient freshness;
• Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff;
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations;
• Contributing to menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences;
• Ensuring dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant’s standards;
• Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
About you:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant;
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques;
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Creativity and passion for creating exceptional dishes;
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team;
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality;
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
