As a Pastry Chef/ Breakfast Chef, your responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing and directing the food preparation process
-Creating and delivering delectable meals of the highest standard
-Showcasing strong knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures.
-Managing and controlling food costs
-Supervising day-to-day kitchen operations
-Leading, training, developing, and inspiring your team while instilling company values
-Coordinating equipment repairs or maintenance as needed
-Demonstrating strong knowledge of pastry and breakfast menus
-Fostering a positive attitude, good team spirit, and the ability to work effectively under
pressure
-Exhibiting excellent communication (verbal & written), organizational, time, and
resource management skills
-Planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies
-Adhering to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations
To qualify for this role, you must have:
-A relevant qualification in the culinary field
-Prior experience in a similar role of at least 5 years
-The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
