Industrial company in the biscuit and cake manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced engineer to work in its production facility.
The main tasks of a mechanical engineer include:
Mechanical design of industrial equipment, machinery and systems
Production of technical documentation
Quality control of mechanical manufacturing processes and technical support for production equipment and systems
Supervising mechanical production systems and processes
Developing and testing mechanical prototypes
R&D activities - e.g. scale-up and industrialization of new products and processes
Analysis and improvement of mechanical systems and processes
Coordinating operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems
determining optimal worker and equipment efficiency by analyzing workforce utilization, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules and prices.
developing manufacturing specifications and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and plant and system layout
organizing and managing project labor as well as material, plant, and equipment delivery
establishing engineering principles and safety regulations-compliant standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance
The candidate must have qualified experience in respect to processing of both biscuit and cakes.
The style of manufacturing to which the engineer must have experienced is continued processing biscuit extrusion as well as packaging and storage system. It is important that the engineer takes up experience in all three areas.
Perhaps the most important is in the product mixing and biscuit extrusion division where the engineer must have experience with a style of machinery described as rotary moulding wire cut extrusion and wet loaf in line processing.
