As the Team Leader Electrical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the equipment within the allocated functional area of the electrical department is maintained to maximize uptime performance and maintain or improve plant condition at a minimum cost. Key role objectives and deliverables include: - Delivering the outputs expected in the Site Works business plan on a day-to-day basis - Driving continuous improvement of outcomes in the production/supply/support - Upholding, supporting, and improving business processes according to company policies and procedures - Meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements related to the position - Actively driving the implementation and application of BlueScope Manufacturing maintenance processes, practices, and systems - Providing clear and effective leadership in the delivery of maintenance outcomes in the areas of safety, cost, efficiency, and strategy - Managing the overall asset strategy to ensure maintenance activities align with business requirements - Establishing and providing clear directions to maintain plant and equipment - Establishing a culture of continuous improvement to eliminate waste and improve team performance - Managing team members, including timekeeping, attendance, mentoring, skills/competency development, leave plans, and performance management To be successful in this role, you should have: - Competency in the application of maintenance management systems and processes - Competency in front-line management of people and maintenance work teams - Competency in developing and institutionalising maintenance strategies - Experience in a relevant trade or engineering background within a heavy industrial environment Preferred qualifications and experience include: - Tertiary qualifications in management - Bachelor of Engineering In addition to these qualifications, you should have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
