The Opportunity:Reporting to the Inventory Purchasing Manager, the Inventory Purchasing Officer is responsible for ensuring parts are purchased and available to meet customer demand and requirements, general purchasing enquires, supplier management and purchase order management.
Responsibilities include:
Action MRP proposed purchase signals through Purchase Dashboard in ERP system on a routine cycle, completing all steps required to ensure deliveries of goods are on time and in full.
Prepare purchase orders and distribute to suppliers on a timely and organised manner.
Actively collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials, while maintaining high accuracy of purchase order delivery date in ERP system.
Analyse MRP stock movements to proactively identify and address potential issues in the supply chain.
Generate reports and communicate regularly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on purchase orders, forward forecasts, supply constraints, and resolution on
