Taking parts cut by CNC machinist, work through the various stages of sanding, biscuit joining, mitre edge cuts on the panel saw, detail router work etc. Check parts for defects as you go, ensure correct number of parts are present before handing to the Finishing team. Once Finishing team complete sealant application to parts, re-check for any defects. Following detailed manufacture drawings and instructions, assemble in-situ including the test fit of panels prior to glues. Ensure project is assembled correctly with no defects, then pack down with all parts labelled and bundled ready to take to site Administration Update status of all your projects and jobs in Monday.com at the end of every day, including written comments/updates on tasks and acknowledging and actioning messages from other team members Follow ‘end of day procedure’ for workshop space. Ensure your workspace is left clean and tidy at the end of the day – all tools back in place, on-the-go projects safely stored or protected, power switched off & alarms activated. Maintain workshop machinery You will be responsible for the general care and maintenance of the Panel saw, Edgebander and your personal station which includes hand tools and required to follow designated maintenance schedules. Ensure all tools and machinery are always at optimal working standard Notify Jonathan if repairs are required asap and tag with OH&S labels if out of order. Consider ways to improve your workflow such as jigs or different tools, report suggestions to Jonothan during weekly catch-ups Assist with on-site installations Sometimes to occur out of hours or on weekends You may be required to attend alone (you will be provided with a vehicle and tools if this is the case).
