Our company installs air conditioning units and mechanical ventilation to commercial and residential properties, the majority of which are in the construction phase, as well as the maintenance of existing systems across a variety of properties in and around Sydney.
We are looking for an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing installation and maintenance teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of split, multi, VRF and ducted systems, to water cooled PAC units.
The position is a full time position. Hours worked are generally between 7am and 3:30pm with overtime available.
A valid white card is a must for this position as the majority of works will be completed on constructions sites.
The successful applicant must have:
- Experience in servicing and installing commercial and domestic air conditioning units.
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with comprehensive knowledge of all types of air conditioning systems and controls.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- ARCtick licence.
- Current drivers licence.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to see the project through to completion.
- Your own appropriate tools for the trade.
- High regard for safety; embrace all safety Procedures and Policies.
- The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
- The ability and desire to consistently deliver a high standard of workmanship.
- Be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling activities and be comfortable with working at heights.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Installation of split systems and ducted air-conditioners.
- Installation of VRV and VRF systems.
- Complete service and repair documentation in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Read and interpret documents, instructions and drawings.
- Attending and repairing breakdowns.
- Preventative maintenance works.
- Domestic, Commercial and Industrial installation works.
