THE POSITION:
The Specialist Support Officer provides administrative, customer service and operational support to facilitate the delivery of business services.
This position is based in the Administration Centre, primarily supporting the administrative tasks and customer relations that support the function of asset management, as well as other general administrative duties.
In supporting the Asset Management Division, you will:
Provide administrative and systems and/ support services, including grant administration, and facilitate achievement of objectives and smooth functioning of operations
Provide advanced customer service including entry, monitoring and update of the Customer Request Management system
Provide record-keeping services including monitoring, review, action and responses to enquiries and requests
Receive, advise, forward and monitor progress on all internal referrals for Asset Management, being the contact for Councils internal customers
Triage all Asset Management related customer enquiries, de-escalating challenging calls.
