Senior Mine Surveyor required for a permanent FIFO role! Your new role Your new role will require you but is not limited to Prepare, maintain, and certify mine plans as required by the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act (1999) and Regulations (2017).
Void Officer as per the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act (1999) and Regulations (2017).
Ensure grid system is maintained at the mine as required.
Maintain and validate survey database.
All underground survey, including, but not limited to:
Survey mark-up of Planned development
Planned drilling
Planned Diamond Drilling
Development pickups
Stope void survey (CMS)
Check surveys as the mine development advances
Assist with surface survey, including but not limited
Stockpile and dump pickups What you'll need to succeed To be successful for this role, you will be based in Australia and able to complete a 12/9 FIFO roster. You will hold your tertiary qualification in surveying, advanced user in either Deswick, Vulcan or Surpac mining software. Be organised, highly efficient and proactive. Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
