Contour Personnel are a leading HR and executive search agency based in Australia and we are partnering with our client, a global technology innovation company specializing in software products services with over 30 years international experience. They are currently looking for a Certified PEGA Senior Software Engineer with experience across retail, telecom and finance to work from their Sydney based offices.
Your main duties & responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of Pega-based solutions, including application architecture, data model design, and user interface design.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create low-level design documents for enterprise class structure, data model and data classes based on the signed off system requirements.
• Designing and developing Pega BPM applications.
• Performing solution architecture within the Pega PRPC environment.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of applications.
• Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
• Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.
• Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services (REST).
• Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
• Conducting system performance tests.
• Maintaining the security of all system applications.
• Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding.
Your skills, qualifications & experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science.
• PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (Pega CSSA).
• Proven work experience as a Pega developer.
• Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 7.x/ 8.x / Infinity versions.
• Familiarity with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Expertise in PRPC Integration with external systems in an enterprise environment using REST services.
• Experience in any of the Pega frameworks.
• Good project work experience in building pega case management applications.
• Experience in projects using Agile methodologies.
• Good domain knowledge.
