About the Job
We are growing the P&C team at Rest and are looking for a Head of People & Culture (P&C) Operations and Work Health & Safety (WHS) to join our team. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the GM for People Solutions & Services and is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness within the People Solutions & Services team.
Your will focus on enhancing service delivery, elevating employee experiences, and driving improvements in process accuracy and productivity.
Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
- Lead the operations team to deliver the administration for all stages of the employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding procedures, changes to employment terms and terminations.
- Champion the implementation of an innovative tiered service model
- Lead the development and manage the execution of the tiered service model
Work Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Align the WHS strategy with Rest's vision and operational goals.
- Ensure that all WHS policies reflect current legislation and industry best practices
- Oversee the design and implementation of targeted initiatives that address specific health and safety concerns
- Oversee the roll-out of programs such as ergonomic assessments, mental health support, emergency response training, and preventive health campaigns.
- Oversee the management and the administration of workers' compensation cases
- Ensure wellbeing policies, strategies, and practices within Rest nurture a culture centred around employee wellbeing.
Leadership
- Lead, mentor and coach the P&C Operations team
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, best practice sharing, and continuous learning.
- Define clear objectives for the team that support the overarching People & strategy
- Oversee the team's budget
