Cultivate a nurturing and engaging environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Observe, document, and assess children's progress, offering guidance and support to other educators to enhance educational outcomes. Mentor and assist educators in implementing the educational program, aligning practices with MiKids' Philosophy and ensuring adherence to best practices. Maintain regular communication with families regarding their child's development, learning experiences, and any related concerns. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, consistently meeting all National Standards. Collaborate with staff to build a cohesive, supportive team, and actively promote professional growth and development. Participate in and lead ongoing professional development and training initiatives. Foster culturally safe environments that respect and embrace all cultures, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions. Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan, ensuring its integration into daily practices.   Qualification & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in early childhood education, with 2-3 years of leadership experience Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment A growth mindset and openness to new ideas Willingness to use educational technology and software CPR and First Aid certification preferred About Company At Mikids, a family-owned 63-place childcare centre based in the Northern Beaches Warriewood region, we believe in building meaningful relationships with children, families, and the community.
