Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Osteria Riva’s standards and recipes.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and visually appealing manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
• Stay updated with culinary trends and industry developments.
Skills Required:
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques.
• Creativity and a passion for developing new and innovative dishes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
