ICT Systems Support Technical Lead Cleared ICT is pleased to represent a privately owned Australian company looking for an ICT Systems Support Technical Lead with a minimum NV1 security clearance. This permanent position is based in Brisbane. As the ICT Systems Support Technical Lead, you will become a key part of an agile network development team, dedicated to deploying secure systems in support of Defence operations. Working closely with technical staff and client stakeholders, you will provide comprehensive IT technical and administrative support for the systems used by our client. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, all applicants must hold at least an NV1 Security Clearance and be Australian Citizens. This role requires onsite presence in Brisbane and may involve occasional domestic travel. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver technical support for the development, service introduction, sustainment, and evolution of software, hardware, data, tools, and processes in both fixed and deployed environments for ADF mission planning systems.
Develop solutions to address data support issues.
Maintain physical servers and networking hardware.
Manage and maintain systems configuration for Client Support laptops.
Install, configure, test, and deploy software.
Ensure all mission systems are operational and meet the needs of users.
Provide support for Defence strategic networks.
Support security and accreditation processes.
Identify and manage technical risks and issues within the operational support scope.
Review and improve documentation related to development and sustainment.
Complete tasks within project deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience: Essential:
Experience with Defence ICT environments, including the Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE).
Proficiency in MS Windows Imaging, MS Windows security, and MS Windows Server Platforms.
Technical/admin experience with client operating systems from MS Windows 10 - 11.
Familiarity with MS Windows Office products and software scripting.
Understanding of Defence ICT Security Accreditation requirements.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Aviation Mission Planning and the AC-C2CS environment.
Experience with Layer 2/3 Networking.
Background in software development environments and database development using SQL Server.
Advanced proficiency in Office Computing Applications for Win10/11, Excel, Word, Access, and XML.
Experience in software testing, including unit testing.
Skills in Hyper-V, VMware/VSphere, Intel McAfee EPO Suite, geospatial data, and recovery/backup tools.
Equipment and Hardware Knowledge:
Computer hardware.
Windows networks and devices.
Network-attached storage devices.
