Your day to day responsibilities include but won't be limited to:
- Lead the creation and delivery of audience-focused content
- Oversee development of content ideas, research, scripting, and editing to ensure compelling storytelling.
- Identify and prioritise stories and angles that resonate deeply with viewers, aligning with audience trends and expectations.
- Ensure all content meets accuracy standards and is legally sound
- Direct communication with on-air talent and production teams during broadcasts, addressing and resolving any issues in real time.
- Take charge of rolling coverage during breaking news events, coordinating efforts in the control room to ensure seamless broadcasts.
- Quickly resolve any issues that arise during news bulletins
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
