Northern Beaches Hospital is currently seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse for the key role of Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) for Ward 3D Older Persons Mental Health Unit. This key position will provide strategic support to Nursing Management, leading the delivery of exceptional clinical services, driving innovation, and championing practice improvement. The position will entail a Monday to Friday schedule, with 7.6-hour days, aligned with our standard business hours. The successful candidate will bring a transformative mindset, challenging the status quo to drive clinical care innovation and excellence. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) : · Advance Clinical competence within Mental Health nursing practice · Practices according to evidence based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing · Able to role model and influence a high standard of clinical practice (including supervising, guiding, and coaching) among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team · Able to develop and deliver training and education, provide support and guidance to peers, patients and their families. · Work within the Recovery Model of Care, whilst clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework. · Possess a business acumen required to promote the service and drive growth · Able to establish a professional working relationship multidisciplinary members of the service, along with all other key stakeholders. · Maintaining a safe work environment · Able to communicate clearly, document legibly · Patient allocation role - primarily day shift within Monday to Friday business hours' Essential Criteria : · Registered with AHPRA · Bachelor of Science (Nursing) · Post graduate qualification in relevant field of specialty About Northern Beaches Hospital Northern Beaches Hospital offers world-class, Level 5 delineation services catering to both public and private patients.
