TPS Commercial Fit out Carpenters (CFC) have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team undertaking and facilitating skilled carpentry and general building works.
Experienced in commercial fit out or high end residential bespoke homes is essential. Attention to the finest detail and very high quality first and second fix carpentry skills are a prerequisite.
Extensive construction knowledge and the ability to diversify and undertake tasks, from light demo, minor alterations and makegood tasks to detailing and fixture fit off in Operating Theatres and Clinical Environments.
‘Live environment’ healthcare projects at one end of our portfolio, with a mix of residential, modular and transportable buildings at the other.
The Commercial Fit out Carpenters, works with the
Operations Team, reporting directly to TPS Site
Management and collaborating with the Operations Team.
The Commercial Fit out Carpenters work closely with TPS Project Managers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure all site operations run efficiently, safely, and according to TPS standards.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Performance will be measured on a range of SMART objectives including but not limited to:
• Work Health and Safety compliance
• Positive client and subcontractor engagement
• TPS Team collaboration
• Company values, processes and procedures
• Appropriate communication with all parties
Skills & Experience:
Must be physically fit and motivated to undertake tasks from site establishment to final fit off
Excellent carpentry and maintenance experience essential, with competent knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools
Attention to detail is essential and the ability to deliver exceptional quality work
Excellent knowledge in read and interpret plans
Wide knowledge of the construction industry with relevant and recent experience
Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Commitment to Quality and Professionalism
Work to tight deadlines and schedules
Be aware and act upon any potential Health and Safety hazards or risks which may be presented on site
The right to work in Australia or be available to be sponsored on a 482 Visa.
Own hand and basic power tools required

Out of standard hours (early starts and late finishes) and weekend work is a necessity for the type of projects TPS undertake
and is a requirement for this position
