Downer Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Sydney. In this pivotal role you will work together with and support the Divisional Finance Teams to deliver relevant, efficient and compliant finance reporting. Supporting the General Manager of Group Reporting, the Finance Manager leads the Group Reporting team to produce monthly consolidated Board Reports, financial analysis and half to yearly external consolidated report to ASX.
About Your Role:
The Finance Manager is responsible for Financial Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Ad hoc analysis/Finance Projects, & conducting analysis, data manipulation, reconciliation and report / account consolidation. Managing a team of two direct reports, your duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Review the Group monthly consolidation process and result and perform variance analysis on Divisional performance for P&L and Cash flow.
Review monthly group intercompany reconciliations/eliminations, review unusual balance
