We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria.
The Finance Systems Manager will work closely with the CFO and Financial controller and be responsible for managing the implementation, maintenance and development of all Financial Information Systems used by the Finance Team, including Epicor and all other finance systems.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying improvement opportunities and carrying out process improvements
Assisting the organisation to optimise and utilise the full potential of current systems to achieve organisational wide efficiencies
Trouble shooting finance system issues and supporting the accounting team
Understanding, documenting and improving system interfaces
Undertaking system maintenance activities
Managing projects, such as system upgrades or app development
Monitoring and maintaining system access and security
Other tasks as required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
Strong IT and Accounting skills
High level attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously within a team
Punctual and reliable
Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal)
Ability to work to deadlines and adopt a measured approach in pressure situations
Proactive problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience with Epicor is beneficial
Ideally CA/CPA qualified
Bachelor of Computing or other similar qualification
