Task & Responsibilities Preparing and cooking food while explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations. Monitoring the quality of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation. Planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering necessary food supplies. Creating and designing new recipes and menus to attract and retain customers. Selecting and training staff, and freezing and preserving foods when required. Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising on procedures. Handling customer feedback and resolving any culinary issues or complaints. Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to standards and procedures. Managing inventory and ensuring all supplies are fresh and of high quality. Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff. Ensuring the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards. Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Qualification & Experience Strong leadership and team management skills. Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience as a chef Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Relevant qualification in kitchen management and hospitality ( Certificate IV and Diploma levels).
