JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To engage in solutions design and use the domain experience to solve business problems.
• Proficient with Bigdata-Hadoop, DevOps and Agile Processes and toolsets.
• Ensuring user service requests regarding data/code issues are provided with a satisfactory clarification/solution through ITIL tool.
• Suggest code fixes by performing a complete root cause analysis and impact of the defect involved in Code release to meet system requirements with quality accredited standards.
• Debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in production job, monitor and resolving high priority business critical issues within the defined SLA.
• Identification and mitigation of risks that may affect the performance and security throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Developing continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies across system design and software development.
• Provide support for complex ETL environment with around 6000+ batch jobs.
• Project experience in SDLC methodologies and skilled SME with strong record of excellent and successful coding project management.
• Investigating the performance issues such as Hive, Hbase etc. Experience in MySQL, HTML, CSS, Big Data using Hadoop, Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Hbase, Control M.
• Have Good Knowledge of DevOps Tools Such as Git, Jenkins.
• Expertise in business practices and end to end functional flow of the clients banking payment system which involves accounting, debit and credit card transactions via different channels
• Good analytical & technical skills combined with good Communication & inter personal skills.
• Notification on environment outages and reports the health of the environments
• Experience with ticket management which includes problem and incident management using Service Now. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications:
• Charles Strut University, Sydney, Australia (2018- 2020), Masters of Information Technology
• MLACW Bangalore University, India (2014-2017), Bachelor’s in Data and Web Analytics Experience: 3 to 4 years experience in similar role: Development, implementationa and monitoring of DevOps job and Web Development. Tools: Unix/Linux, HTML, Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Office 2000, Git, Postgres, Cassandra, Teradata, Azure DevOps
