About the Role: Our client is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join their team! They are seeking a dedicated professional to collaborate with various business units in designing, implementing, and transitioning to a unified Cloud and Application security platform. Key Responsibilities:
Stay ahead of emerging threats, attacks, methods, and techniques in the ever-evolving landscape of application security.
Develop and secure the enterprise cloud and application environment.
Collaborate with vendors, product owners, and developers to establish robust security solutions.
Participate in end-to-end cloud-based application development.
Work with developers from various cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet operational standards.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps role focused on application security or API development in an AppSec context, including development, design, and publishing of applications and APIs.
