My Kind Of Vet is looking for a full-time veterinarian with at least three years experience to connect with our team. Key responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care.
Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of veterinarians.
Provide compassionate care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Perform routine diagnostic tests, such as blood work and urinalysis.
Maintain accurate medical records and update client information.
Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and overall pet health.
Assist with reception duties, including scheduling appointments and client communication.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Restrain animals to allow examination and treatment by Veterinarians
Clean and sterilize examination tables and equipment
preparing instruments and handing them to the Veterinarian
Maintaining stock control and records
Providing animal care advice, and preparing, delivering, and reviewing animal care education programs
Experience and qualifications
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nurse of above
3 years full-time experience as a clinical vet nurse
Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, animal care, and clinic operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing the best care for animals.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
