Your Role in Our Team

As a Podiatrist at Doveston Health, you will succeed in completing the following:

Patient Assessments and Consultations:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' lower limb health, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Evaluate gait, posture, and biomechanics to identify issues related to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
- Diagnose various podiatric conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, diabetic foot complications, and ingrown toenails.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include orthotic prescriptions, physical therapy exercises, or surgical
interventions.

Patient Care and Management:
- Provide routine and specialized care for conditions like warts, calluses, and fungal infections.
- Perform minor surgical procedures such as nail surgeries or debridement of wounds and ulcers.

Orthotic Fitting and Adjustments:
- Assess and fit custom orthotics to correct biomechanical imbalances and provide relief from pain or discomfort.
- Monitor and adjust orthotic devices as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Education:
- Educate patients on foot care, preventive measures, and proper footwear to manage and prevent foot problems.
- Provide guidance on self-care techniques, such as proper nail trimming and skincare.

Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in patient condition.
- Ensure documentation meets legal, ethical, and clinic standards.

Collaborative Care:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, general practitioners, and orthopedic surgeons, to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment strategies.

commission (paid monthly, 50% over set target minus cost of products.)
